Make My Idea

They offer low volume manufacturing in-house in order to make my idea a reality. This is useful if I want a small production run or if I have a long lead time from the end manufacturer and need product to deliver with a fast lead time. They offer larger volume manufacturing through many of their affiliates in the United States and overseas. Build My Product is a proud sponsor of National Inventors Month which is a month long event celebrating invention and creativity and allows me to make my idea. National Inventors Month was started in 1998 by the United Inventors Association of the USA, the Academy of Applied Science, and Inventors' Digest magazine. They begin every project with a review to determine how far along I am in the process of being able to make my idea. They can begin my project with a sketch drawing of how the unit should look, a detailed description of how the unit should operate, and what materials are required.

They can start at any step and even work with existing products. Once they determine my needs in order to make my idea, they provide me with budgetary pricing so that they can take your project to the next step. Electrical and Mechanical Engineers work together with Software Developers to design my product. They also have extensive experience in product manufacturing which enables them to perform this step with the cost of end unit manufacturing in mind. Staying up to date with the latest available components, and keeping track of manufacturing trends allows them to provide me with a level of service and standards few can match.

They can now determine firm pricing for a Functional Prototype. A Functional Prototype is a great development tool when I am looking to make my idea. Although it may not look like the end product it allows a products function to be tested and refined. From this prototype they get feedback for any changes that are needed for the final product. Sometimes new features are added that were not thought of before. Prototype costs and lead time to produce are kept to a minimum by utilizing readily available parts. Requested changes and additions are implemented into the design and the program is finished up. Virtual 3D models of all custom parts are created and assembled to ensure everything will fit together as designed. Software tweaks are made and final pricing for the final quality product can be determined.
